WebWe have a short time on Islay next Monday. We disembark the ferry at 11.55am in Port Ellen and want to visit the Laphroig distillery visitor centre. Our return ferry from Port Askaig is at 3.30pm. The bus takes an hour between the two. Would it be better to take a taxi? We're happy to take a taxi and perhaps get a bit of a more personalised tour.
